HOME MAINTENANCE

Once you’ve found your way home, let’s keep it in great working shape and prevent future surprises! I am here to help you through the process, from inspection to work planning, upgrade decisions, and more.

STEP 1

Review recent inspection report home with me and create a remodel timeline and budget.

STEP 2

Note the ages of all your systems/appliances and schedule maintenance and replacement reminders.

STEP 3

Put seasonal and as-needed maintenance items on your calendar to work on throughout the year.

STEP 4

Have an updated home inspection and sewer scope done at least every five years.

Annual Maintenance

Below you will find tips for each season!

SPRING

Clean gutters, roof and downspouts after winter storms.
Check the exterior & interior of your home for evidence of leaks, pests, mold, holes, or other issues.
Tackle landscaping cleanups and trim all vegetation back from the house.
Give your lawn some pre-summer care: Mow, edge, re-seed, or treat.
Change furnace, A/C, & purifier filters.
Check irrigation and drainage systems outside the home & ensure soil is sloped away from the foundation.
